REWILDING IMAGINATION is a workshop for artists and creators seeking to reconnect with their imagination, enhance their creativity and develop tools for staying true to themselves and their vision.
The REWILDING IMAGINATION workshop is designed to give you the tools to reconnect with your core needs as an artist, to help you stay focused and protect your creativity.
It will help you restore the natural creative and imaginative processes while giving you techniques for accessing that fertile inner wilderness at any time.
This will be a practical workshop consisting of presentations, exercises and experiments which will deepen your understanding of what imagination and creativity truly are. You will come away with a deeper knowledge of your own creativity and tools for developing a richer and more fruitful imagination.
This workshop will also be useful if you are experiencing creative blocks, having trouble making decisions about the direction of your work or generally looking for fresh ideas.
Join us for an evening’s exploration of the imaginative zone as we get back to that core reason we all became artists in the first place – to dream, to imagine, to create and be transformed!
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADERS:
Daniel & Clara are two humans, one artist on a journey of exploration of dimensions real and imagined, the results of which consist of moving image, photography and performance. Over nine years of collaboration they have created a large body of work which has been exhibited and screened internationally at galleries and film festivals.
A major part of their practice is dedicated to working with and supporting other artists through curating, writing, workshops and peer groups. In 2019 they launched Moving Image Artists (MIA), an organisation dedicated to supporting and cultivating contemporary moving image art and experimental film. This includes an online magazine, screenings and the Moving Image Salon.
